This dataset includes records of the number of employed persons in Chongqing from 1985 to 2000, with indicators covering year, total, urban, state-owned urban, collectively-owned urban, other urban, private urban, individual urban, and rural sectors. These records are extracted from the socio-economic statistical data of Chongqing, which is a demonstration province for the Shelter Forest Engineering Project. As a typical provincial (municipality directly under the State Council) region in the key shelter forest project area, this dataset also contains statistical data of Chongqing across various aspects including population, industrial and agricultural production, fixed asset investment, infrastructure construction, tourism development, residents' living conditions, commodity prices, local finance, industrial enterprises, transportation and post and telecommunications, cultivated land and grain, education and public health, and other relevant fields.
