MycoCAP

Mycobacterium spp. are renowned for being the causative agent of diseases like leprosy, Buruli ulcer and tuberculosis in human beings. With more and more mycobacterial genomes being sequenced, any knowledge generated from comparative genomic analysis would provide better insights into the biology, evolution, phylogeny and pathogenicity of this genus, thus helping in better management of diseases caused by Mycobacterium spp.With this motivation, we constructed MycoCAP, a new comparative analysis platform dedicated to the important genus Mycobacterium. This platform currently provides information of 2108 genome sequences of at least 55 Mycobacterium spp

分枝杆菌属（Mycobacterium spp.）素来以引发人类多种疾病的病原体而闻名，此类疾病涵盖麻风病、布鲁里溃疡以及结核病。随着越来越多分枝杆菌基因组完成测序，通过比较基因组分析所获得的研究成果，能够为深入解析该属细菌的生物学特性、演化历程、系统发育关系以及致病能力提供更全面的认知，进而助力分枝杆菌属相关疾病的精细化防控与管理。基于上述研究背景与目标，我们构建了MycoCAP——一款专为分枝杆菌属这一重要类群研发的新型比较基因组分析平台。目前该平台已收录至少55个分枝杆菌菌种的2108条基因组序列信息。
