This dataset is based on the composite stratocumulus-to-cumulus transition described in Sandu & Stevens (2011). From the base simulation (em0), 5 cloud-controlling factors and 1 uncertain model parameter were perturbed. The simulations were run using the Met Office/NERC cloud model, which is a large-eddy simulation model. Details may be found in the manuscript titled "Strong control of the stratocumulus-to-cumulus transition time by aerosol: analysis of the joint roles of several cloud-controlling factors using Gaussian process emulation" by R. Sansom, J. Johnson, L. Regayre, L. Lee and K. Carslaw, which will be released as a pre-print shortly.
