The gut microbiota has emerged as a key factor in the pathogenesis of intestinal viruses, including enteroviruses, noroviruses and rotaviruses (RV), where stimulatory and inhibitory effects on infectivity have been reported. With the aim of determining whether members of the microbiota interact with RV during infection, a combination of anti-RV antibody labelling, fluorescence-activated cell sorting and 16S rRNA gene sequencing was used to characterize the interaction between specific bacteria and RV in stool samples of children suffering diarrhea produced by G1P[8] RV.
肠道菌群已成为肠道病毒(包括肠道病毒、诺如病毒以及轮状病毒(RV))致病过程中的关键调控因子,既往研究已证实其对病毒感染性兼具促进与抑制效应。为明确感染过程中菌群成员是否与轮状病毒发生相互作用,本研究采用抗轮状病毒抗体标记、荧光激活细胞分选技术与16S rRNA基因测序联合分析的方法,针对G1P[8]型轮状病毒感染引发腹泻的患儿粪便样本,对特定细菌与轮状病毒的相互作用进行了系统表征。
