Figures in the 'Additional figures' directory are additional figures with, for some, an alternative format that can facilitate the understanding of the data being displayed. The 16S rRNA phylogenetic trees additionally inform on the genetic relatedness among all Cephalotes-isolated bacteria that were used in metabolic assays.<br>Figures in the 'Protein phylogenetic trees' directory are all the protein phylogenetic trees built to identify relatedness of candidate PFCWDE-encoding genes to others from symbionts of Cephalotes ants and those described previously in the literature. These were used, in several cases, to revise annotations.<br>The 'R scripts and input tables' directory contains a set of R scripts and input files to reproduce analyses and data visualizations from Béchade et al. (2022). The R scripts can be used to make five different types of figures to visualize genomic data. The input tables are tables that were generated and used in Béchade et al. (2022).<br>Files contained in the 'Raw data and screening results' directory are mainly direct results from our screenings and analyses.
