Dataset Description

The RecGaze dataset is the first comprehensive feedback dataset on carousels that includes eye tracking results, clicks, cursor movements, and selection explanations. The dataset comprises of interactions from 3  movie selection tasks with 40 different carousel interfaces per user. In total, 87 users and 3,477 interactions are logged.

Non-Public Dataset download contains:

Non-Public User Features Dataframe (non_public_user_features.csv) - Contains all the information gathered from the users during the pre-survey, post-survey, and post-selection screens (selection explanations). Non-public version adds:

Age

Gender

Answer to most helpful carousel topic/explanation question

Non-public Feedback Dataframe (non_public_feedback_dataset.csv) - All the feedback (fixations, clicks, cursor movements) data gathered during the movie selection screens. Non-public version adds:

Raw Gaze data 

x,y pixel postions for fixation, cursor, clicks

Poster Images (poster_images_resize.zip)- For convenience, we provide a zip folder including all the poster images of the movies used in the user study. They can also be accessed through the URL in the Item Features of the public version of the dataset.

Screen Recordings - Includes recordings of every movie selection task for all users and screens. Note:

 Screen recordings include the loading (at start and after movie selection) of the webpage, for which all feedback data is already removed from the public and non-public summary feedback dataframe. 

The blue dot is a gaze indicator created by the post-processing of the recording software used by the user study.

Screen recordings [84GB] exceed the allowed storage amount for Zenodo. If you would like access to them then mention it in the email (see below).

How to recieve access to the non-public version

Fill out the form below and in your request message state that you agree to the terms

Data sharing agreement complete (sections in red), sign, and email it to [e-mail]. If you would like access to the screen recordings then please mention it in the email.

Upon confirmation of 1 and 2, we will approve access to download from Zenodo

## 数据集说明
RecGaze数据集是首款针对轮播界面的眼动追踪与用户交互综合反馈数据集，涵盖眼动追踪结果、点击行为、光标移动轨迹与选择解释信息。该数据集包含87名用户完成3项电影选择任务的交互数据，每名用户需操作40种不同的轮播界面，总计记录3477次交互行为。

### 非公开数据集下载内容
非公开用户特征数据框（non_public_user_features.csv）：包含用户在预调查、后调查以及选片后界面收集的全部信息（含选择解释）。非公开版本新增以下内容：
- 年龄
- 性别
- "最有帮助的轮播主题/解释问题"的答案

非公开反馈数据框（non_public_feedback_dataset.csv）：包含用户在选片界面收集的全部反馈数据（注视点、点击行为、光标移动轨迹）。非公开版本新增以下内容：原始注视数据（Raw Gaze data）—— 注视点、光标、点击的x、y像素坐标。

海报图片（poster_images_resize.zip）：为方便使用，我们提供包含本次用户研究中所用全部电影海报图片的压缩包。用户也可通过数据集公开版本的项目特征中的链接获取这些图片。

屏幕录制文件：包含所有用户的全部选片任务与界面的录制视频。请注意：
- 屏幕录制文件包含网页加载过程（任务开始与选片后），该过程的全部反馈数据已从公开与非公开的汇总反馈数据框中移除。
- 蓝色圆点为本次用户研究所用录制软件经后处理生成的眼动指示器。
- 屏幕录制文件（84GB）超出了Zenodo允许的存储空间上限。若您希望获取该文件，请在邮件中说明（详见下文）。

## 如何获取非公开数据集的访问权限
