Colonic mucosal-luminal interface microbiome in Crohns disease

Lavage sampling of the cecum and sigmoid colon was performed to characterize the mucosal-luminal interface (MLI) microbiome of CD patients in endoscopic remission relative to unaffected controls and its relationship to disease traits, obesity, and genetic risk.
