Salinity effects on the Caligus elongatus transcriptome

In this study, we wanted to analyse the effects of a reduced salinity on the transcriptome of the sea louse Caligus elogatus. The experiments were performed with two different life stages, with copepodids or adult females. Caligus elongatus is a fish parasite which might pose a danger for aquaculture; as such understanding its biology better is of high importance.

本研究旨在分析盐度降低对鱼虱（Caligus elogatus）转录组的影响。实验采用两种不同生命阶段的样本开展，分别为桡足幼体（copepodids）与成年雌体。长腹鱼虱（Caligus elongatus）是一种鱼类寄生虫，可能对水产养殖业构成威胁；因此，深入解析其生物学特性具有重要意义。
