Phylogenomics of tinamous. Nothocercus julius

Tinamous are an ancient group of ground-dwelling birds distributed throughout the Neotropics. This project leverages whole genome sequencing reads to reconstruct a species-level phylogenetic tree for these birds based on thousands of ortholog gene sequences.

䳍（Tinamous）是一类古老的地栖鸟类，广泛分布于新热带区。本项目借助全基因组测序读段（whole genome sequencing reads），基于数千个直系同源基因序列，为该类鸟类重建物种水平的系统发育树。
