Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is an inherited eye disease that causes progressive vision loss.To investigate the biological processes and molecular changes that occur in different cell types in the retinas in rd1 mice, a mouse model of retinitis pigmentosa, we performed single-cell RNA-seq to examine the transcriptomes of various retinal cells. We dissected the retinas from WT and rd1 mice, and obtained retinal single-cell suspensions using Papain Dissociation System Source according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

色素性视网膜炎(Retinitis Pigmentosa, RP)是一种可导致进行性视力丧失的遗传性眼部疾病。为探究作为色素性视网膜炎小鼠模型的rd1小鼠视网膜内不同细胞类型的生物学过程与分子变化,我们采用单细胞RNA测序(single-cell RNA-seq)技术对各类视网膜细胞的转录组进行分析。我们分别解剖野生型(Wild Type, WT)与rd1小鼠的视网膜,并按照制造商的说明书使用木瓜蛋白酶解离系统(Papain Dissociation System)制备视网膜单细胞悬液。
