We are investigating the characteristics of introduction and spread of the new RSV ON1 variant into Kenya and asking how this is informed by relatedness of genetic sequence data of the viruses and how the patterns of spread observed relate to the evolution of the variant.

本研究针对新型呼吸道合胞病毒（Respiratory Syncytial Virus，RSV）ON1变异株传入并扩散至肯尼亚的相关特征展开探究，旨在厘清两个核心问题：一是病毒的基因序列数据相关性如何为该变异株的传入与传播特征提供科学佐证；二是观测到的传播模式与该变异株的演化存在何种内在关联。
