Isolated across four unique locations aboard the International Space Station (ISS), 10 bacterial strains were compared using a whole-genome sequence (WGS) analysis and phylogenetically identified as Klebsiella. The WGS will aid in genomic datamining the ISS Klebsiella strains with Earth counterparts and gain insights about their adaptation to space conditions.

从国际空间站(International Space Station,ISS)的四个独特点位分离得到10株细菌,通过全基因组测序(whole-genome sequence,WGS)分析完成菌株间比对,并经系统发育鉴定为克雷伯菌属(Klebsiella)。该全基因组测序数据将有助于开展国际空间站克雷伯菌菌株与地球同源菌株的基因组数据挖掘,进而深入解析其对太空环境的适应性。
