This project will determine the appropriateness of BioCollect as a means to capture opportunistic sighting records of flora and fauna across South Australia to be entered into BDBSA with minimum effort and training, in a managed, corporate-level approach. This project presents us with a number of opportunities:
- Efficiencies to be made in record capture, consistency and processing
- Expert knowledge is captured contemporaneously into a corporate (shared) dataset
- Staff will be willing to contribute more often when they see the ease of use and fast feedback time
- Data is easily retrievable
本项目旨在评估BioCollect作为数据采集工具的适用性，将采用规范化企业级管理模式，以最低的工作量与培训成本，采集南澳大利亚州范围内的动植物偶然观测记录，并将其录入BDBSA。本项目同时带来多项利好：
