Windmill Islands vegetation monitoring quadrat photographs 2003-2013 (10 years)

This record contains digital photographs collected for the Windmill Islands long term vegetation monitoring program, conducted between 2003 and 2014, under projects ASAC_1313, AAS_3042 and AAS_4046. These photographs include photographs showing the transect and quadrat locations, photographs of each quadrat to assess vegetation cover/health in 2003, 2008, 2012 and 2013 (data presented in separate metadata record: doi:10.4225/15/59d454f962bd6), and photographs yet to be analysed.
Quadrat location data at two sites in the Windmill Islands (ASPA 135 and Robinson Ridge) are provided in metadata ID: AAS_4046_quadrat_locations

Baseline survey was described in Metadata ID ASAC_1313_Transects_2002-03; five and 10 year surveys described in ASAC_1313_Transects_2007-08 and AAS_4046_Transects_2012-13, respectively.

 photographs showing the locations of the transects within each site

 Photographs showing the locations of the tags which identify the locations of quadrats along each transect

 Photographs showing the placement of the quadrats in relation to the tags and surrounding rocks

X = Community identifier: B = Bryophyte community, T = Transitional community; L = Lichen community
type = type of photograph: transect = transect location, tagL = tag location, QL = quadrat placement
x = iterator: where more than one photograph exists, a lowercase letter has been added here

“QuadratPhotographs” folder:
• Contains 6 subfolders, one for each year of quadrat photographs (ie. 2003, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014)
File naming convention = SITE_YEAR_X#x.JPG
