Integrated Cultural Resources Management Plan: Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina

Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-7065 and Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 4715.3 mandate that Shaw Air Force Base (AFB) have an Integrated Cultural Resource Management Plan (ICRMP) that will be the 20th Fighter Wing (20FW) Commander’s decision document for the management and protection of cultural resources on the installation. The document includes guidelines, procedures and management recommendations that will enable Shaw AFB to meet its legal responsibilities for the identification, evaluation, and treatment of cultural resources under its jurisdiction at Shaw, Poinsett Electronic Combat Range (PECR), and Wateree Recreation Area, as well as properties leased by Shaw AFB. The 5-year document is also a component of the Shaw AFB Master Plan. This ICRMP shall be updated annually and revised every 5 years.
