Exclusively Dark dataset

Exclusively Dark数据集是由马来亚大学计算机科学与信息技术学院图像与信号处理中心创建的，专门用于低光环境下的图像研究。该数据集包含7363张仅使用可见光捕获的低光图像，并附有图像和对象级别的标注。数据集内容涵盖从极低光环境到黄昏的多种光照条件，并标注了12个对象类别。创建过程中，数据收集自多种来源，包括互联网网站、现有数据集以及手动捕获的图像。该数据集主要用于推动低光环境下计算机视觉研究的进展，特别是在图像理解、增强和对象检测等领域。

Exclusively Dark Dataset was developed by the Image and Signal Processing Center, School of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya, specifically for research on images in low-light environments. This dataset contains 7,363 low-light images captured exclusively using visible light, with image-level and object-level annotations. It covers a diverse range of lighting conditions spanning from extremely low-light environments to twilight, and provides annotations for 12 object categories. During its curation, the dataset's data was collected from multiple sources, including internet websites, existing datasets, and manually captured images. This dataset is primarily designed to advance computer vision research in low-light environments, particularly in the fields of image understanding, image enhancement, and object detection.
