The CBIS-DDSM dataset is a standardized medical imaging dataset for breast cancer AI-assisted diagnosis research, serving as an updated version of the Digital Database for Screening Mammography (DDSM). It contains 6,775 examinations and 10,239 DICOM-format images, covering 1,566 participants. Cases are annotated as benign, malignant or normal, with pathologically validated ROI segmentations, bounding boxes and diagnostic information provided. With its large scale and authoritative annotations, it is suitable for developing and evaluating breast cancer auxiliary diagnosis models, and has been widely applied in scenarios including medical image analysis and deep learning.
