NHS England: Civil Registration of Deaths Dataset - Dated 23 May 2024

The dataset comprises all deaths in England and Wales since 1993 and is collected by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). It is a legal requirement to report a death to a register office within five days. The informant provides demographic details about the deceased, including occupation, sex, address, date and place of birth, marital status, date of death and place of death. If applicable, it also includes details about the deceased’s spouse.
