Sweep Net Data

On Tuesday September 30th, a sweeping net was used in both the Saywell Woodlot at York University and the Grassland East of Stong Bond to observe the number of insects captured and the total number of unique rtus in the net. Multiple transects of 100m were used as the distance. The total time spent sweeping and observations were repeated and recorded every 10 times in a 25m distance or 2 min time capacity.9月30日星期二，研究人员分别在约克大学塞维尔林地（Saywell Woodlot）与斯壮邦德（Stong Bond）东侧的草原区域开展昆虫采样观测工作，采用扫网法统计扫网捕获的昆虫数量及网内独特RTU（rtus）的总数量。本次研究设置多条长度为100米的样带（transect）作为采样距离基准；扫网采样与观测流程每完成10次操作，或累计完成25米采样距离、累计时长达2分钟时，即重复一轮并记录相关数据，该流程总计重复执行10次。
