data.mat is a MATLAB structure containing, for each subject (column) and experimental condition (row), 300-beat long time series (row) of arterial compliance (1st column), mean arterial pressure (2nd column), heart period (3rd column) and respiration (4th column). In detail, 39 subjects are monitored in 2 phases (supine rest, head-up tilt) Direct-causal-transfer-entropy-main.zip is a zip folder containing MATLAB codes for reproducing results relevant to one representative subject and figures of the submitted manuscript READ_ME.txt is a txt file describing each of the files contained in the zip folder Further details relevant to the experimental protocol and dataset are given here: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8884402/.
