叶面积指数定义为单位地表面积上叶子表面积总和的一半,是描述植被冠层功能的重要参数,也是影响植被光合作用、蒸腾以及陆表能量平衡的重要生物物理参量。基于多种传感器数据如Terra/MODIS、Aqua/ MODIS、FY3-MERSI、FY3-VIRR,结合DEM和地表分类图,在对遥感数据的质量进行分级基础上,基于随机辐射传输模型构建查找表反演LAI。利用本算法生产2010~2015年“一带一路”陆域LAI产品,空间分辨率为1km,时间分辨率为5天。
Leaf Area Index (LAI) is defined as half of the total leaf surface area per unit land surface area. It is a critical parameter for characterizing vegetation canopy functions, as well as an important biophysical variable that affects vegetation photosynthesis, transpiration, and land surface energy balance. Based on multiple sensor datasets including Terra/MODIS, Aqua/MODIS, FY3-MERSI, and FY3-VIRR, combined with Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and land cover maps, LAI is retrieved by constructing a lookup table based on the stochastic radiative transfer model after grading the quality of remote sensing data. Using this algorithm, a land surface LAI product over the Belt and Road region from 2010 to 2015 was generated, with a spatial resolution of 1 km and a temporal resolution of 5 days.
