Jardiniere

A jardinière or plant holder made as a bust of a man in earthenware or faience. The man has long wavy hair and there is a hollow at the back of the head where a plant could be inserted. This object is a copy of a classical sculpture from the Uffizi in Florence titled 'Head of the so-called Dying Alexander' and dating from the late 2nd century B.C.以赤陶（earthenware）或彩陶（faience）制成的人形胸像式装饰花盆（jardinière）或植栽容器。该胸像带有长波浪卷发，后脑处设有凹陷空腔，可用于置入植栽。该器物复刻自佛罗伦萨乌菲齐美术馆（Uffizi）馆藏的一件古典雕塑，该作品题为《所谓的亚历山大大帝之死头像》（"Head of the so-called Dying Alexander"），年代可追溯至公元前2世纪末期。
