Major and Trace Elemental Analyses from South Pacific Gyre Basalt (IODP Expedition 329)

Bulk element analysis data on 43 basement basalt samples from South Pacific Gyre (SPG). Basement was drilled at three SPG sites on IODP expedition 329 in 2010. Rock samples were powdered and analyzed using ICP-ES and ICP-MS mainly for U, Th, and K concentrations.本数据集涵盖采自南太平洋环流（South Pacific Gyre, SPG）的43件基底玄武岩样品的全量元素分析数据。2010年，研究人员通过综合大洋钻探计划（IODP）第329次航次，在南太平洋环流的三个站位钻取了基底玄武岩样品。所有岩石样品经研磨制粉后，采用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱（ICP-ES）与电感耦合等离子体质谱（ICP-MS），主要针对铀（U）、钍（Th）及钾（K）的浓度完成了分析测试。
