Hydrogen peroxide treatment leads to a shift in salivary microbiome composition

The effect of hydrogen peroxide on the salivary microbiome was tested. We found that a shift in microbiome composition occured and that genes coding for catalase and the abundance of Gram-positives protected against treatment.

本研究检测了过氧化氢（hydrogen peroxide）对唾液微生物组（salivary microbiome）的影响。结果发现，微生物组组成发生了偏移，且编码过氧化氢酶（catalase）的基因以及革兰氏阳性菌（Gram-positives）的丰度可对该处理起到防护作用。
