Site Data from Archaeological Monitoring and Recording at Shemmings Farmhouse, Hardy's Green, Birch, Essex, September 2024

This collection comprises images, site documents, and CAD data from an archaeological monitoring and recording at Shemmings Farmhouse, Hardy's Green, Birch, Essex, CO2 0NY. In September 2024, Colchester Archaeological Trust carried out groundworks for the construction of an extension. Monitoring of the foundation trench revealed a probable post-medieval/modern pit, an undated ditch/pit and an undated tree-throw.
