Small intestine is highly innervated by nociceptor neurons. Single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) of ileal epithelial cells was performed to analyze the role of nociceptor neurons in regulating small intestinal epithelial cells. Ileal epithelial cells were purified by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) from both nociceptor knockout (Nav1.8Cre_P_DTA_P) mice and the control (Nav1.8Cre_M_DTA_P) mice. The purified cells were used for scRNAseq using inDrops.
小肠受到伤害感受神经元(nociceptor neurons)的高度神经支配。为解析伤害感受神经元对小肠上皮细胞的调控作用,研究人员针对回肠上皮细胞开展了单细胞RNA测序(scRNA-seq)。研究人员分别从伤害感受神经元敲除(Nav1.8Cre_P_DTA_P)小鼠及对照(Nav1.8Cre_M_DTA_P)小鼠体内,通过荧光激活细胞分选(FACS)纯化得到回肠上皮细胞,随后利用inDrops平台对纯化后的细胞进行scRNA-seq测序。
