Richness over the study period (1979 to 2008) of residual herbaceous species (see Appendix A for species classification). Column headings are: Plot number (first digit is watershed number, 1 or 3); the remainining columns are sampling dates (1979, 1980, 1983, 1987, 1990, 1994, 1997, 2002, and 2008. Units are number of species/plot.

本数据集记录了1979年至2008年研究周期内残存草本植物的物种丰富度，物种分类方法详见附录A。数据集列标题规则如下：首列为样地编号（首位数字代表流域编号，取值仅为1或3）；其余各列均为采样日期，涵盖1979、1980、1983、1987、1990、1994、1997、2002及2008年。数据单位为物种数/样地。
