This dataset is a statistical table of four-side trees (trees along roads, water bodies, farmlands and villages) from the 1990 second-class forest inventory of Jiangsu Province. The data was collected in 1990, and documents the following statistical indicators for four-side trees in Jiangsu: total number of trees, total standing volume, number of trees with diameter at breast height (DBH) less than 5 cm, number of trees with DBH of 6–12 cm, standing volume of trees with DBH 6–12 cm, number of trees with DBH of 14–24 cm, standing volume of trees with DBH 14–24 cm, number of economic trees, and number of shrubs. As a critical statistical resource for forestry production, second-class forest inventory data provides essential data support for forest resource statistics.
