Citizen of Miletopolis

This impressive portrait was originally meant to be inserted in a statue which was made in Asia Minor. It was set up either in the representative private sphere within a house or grave or as an honorary statue in a public square.这件极具表现力的肖像最初本为嵌入小亚细亚（Asia Minor）所制的一尊雕像而创作。其安置场景有二：或是置于住宅或墓葬中的典型私人空间内，或是作为纪念雕像矗立在公共广场之中。
