Decadal-climatology-Adriatic Sea

Decadal climatology of temperature, salinity and dissolved oxygen for the Adriatic Sea produced in 2009 with the Variational Inverse Method and based on data covering the period 1911-2009. The climatological field reconstructions were performed on 27 levels, from the sea surface to the bottom for the following decades: 1910, 1970, 1980 and 1990. The decade 2000 is excluded due to insufficient data spatial and temporal coverage at time of the analysis. The first decade includes data only from the period 1911-1914 but is retained as a reference for the beginning of the XX century. Geoboxes: Lon 15-20 E - Lat 40-42 N and Lon 12-20 E - Lat 42-46 N

2009年采用变分反演法（Variational Inverse Method），基于1911-2009年时段观测数据构建的亚得里亚海温度、盐度与溶解氧年代际气候学数据集。该数据集的气候场重建工作在27个垂直层上开展，覆盖从海表至海底的深度范围，对应年代为1910年代、1970年代、1980年代及1990年代。由于分析开展时数据的时空覆盖度不足，2000年代被排除出本次数据集。1910年代仅收录1911-1914年的观测数据，但仍被保留作为20世纪初期的参考基准。研究地理箱域为：东经15°-20°、北纬40°-42°，以及东经12°-20°、北纬42°-46°。
