A snapshot of Heard Island data from 1901-2002

The snapshot (originally produced on CD for a conference) was produced by the Australian Antarctic Data Centre for distribution to Heard Island expeditioners in the 2003/2004 season. The snapshot contained all publicly available data held by the Australian Antarctic Data Centre related to Heard Island at the time of production. The snapshot also contained all metadata held by the AADC at the time of production.

Finally, freely available software needed to browse some of the data are also included.

本数据快照最初为某次会议以光盘介质制作，于2003/2004年度由澳大利亚南极数据中心（Australian Antarctic Data Centre，简称AADC）制作完成，用于向赫德岛（Heard Island）科考队员分发。该数据快照包含制作时点该中心所持有的全部与赫德岛相关的公开可用数据，同时还收录了制作时点该中心所持有的全部元数据（metadata）。
