Effect of granular activated carbon supplementation in a pilot-scale anaerobic digester treating agro-industrial wastewater

This work examined the addition of conductive granular activated carbon (GAC) in an integrated pilot-scale unit containing an anaerobic digester and an aerobic submerged membrane bioreactor (MBR) connected in series for the treatment of agro-industrial wastewater.
