This database is the original data demonstrating the decrease of ECP expression of eosinophils in the cell model and an allergic animal model after simvastatin treatment was not due to inhibition of ECP formation or its release but the decrease of cell counts. Simvastatin induced G1/S cell cycle arrest and the associated cyclin A to inhibit subsequent HC15 cell proliferation via the mevalonate pathway.
本数据集为原始实验数据,用以证实:在细胞模型与过敏性动物模型中,经辛伐他汀(simvastatin)处理后,嗜酸性粒细胞的嗜酸性粒细胞阳离子蛋白(eosinophil cationic protein, ECP)表达水平降低,并非因ECP的合成或释放受到抑制,而是由细胞总数减少所致。同时,辛伐他汀可通过甲羟戊酸途径(mevalonate pathway)诱导G1/S期细胞周期阻滞,并借助相关细胞周期蛋白A(cyclin A)抑制HC15细胞的后续增殖。
