Starting from December 2019 and ending in May 2021, we collected the time evolution of views of any video published by a list of over a thousand French YouTube channels dealing with politics and news disclosure. The dataset covers 1300 popular French channels that are particularly influential in the French public debate.The dataset has been used in the work: "Fake views, real trends.The crucial role of time in the authentication of engagement metrics"
