This microbasekaplus datastream is produced by re-writed micorbaseka vap (microbasekaplus) in python under ADI framewrok, and added uncertainties for the microphysics. The original Microbase VAP was developed in 2002. The primary purpose of producing this VAP was to provide the required microphysical values for input to the Broad Band Heating Rate Profiles (BBHRP) VAP in order to generate estimations of radiative heating rates. It served the Radiatively Important Parameters Best Estimate (RIBPE) VAP in the capacity of providing baseline cloud microphysical values as input. Microbase produces cloud microphysical properties based on cloud radar measurements taken at all fixed ARM sites.
本微基Plus(microbasekaplus)数据流是在ADI框架下,通过Python语言对微基VAP(microbaseka VAP)进行重写得到,并为其微物理特性引入了不确定性量化参数。原始微基VAP研发于2002年。本VAP的核心研发目的是为宽带加热率廓线VAP(Broad Band Heating Rate Profiles,BBHRP)提供所需的微物理参数输入,以生成辐射加热率估算结果。此外,本VAP还可为辐射重要参数最优估计VAP(Radiatively Important Parameters Best Estimate,RIBPE)提供基准云微物理参数作为输入。微基VAP基于所有固定ARM观测站点的云雷达观测数据,生成云微物理特性参数。
