These data are point clouds of the snow and ice surface (in ascii format) of the Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate (MOSAiC) Central Observatory. They were collected by Ian Raphael and processed by David Clemens-Sewall. These data are provided as is for "Modelling the small-scale deposition of snow onto structured Arctic sea ice during a MOSAiC storm" by Hames et al. 2021 and "Overview of the MOSAiC expedition - Snow and Sea Ice" by Nicolaus et al. 2021. All other researchers are strongly encouraged to use the forthcoming complete MOSAiC Terrestrial Laser Scan (TLS) data. Which will have uncertainty estimates, improved registration, and will supersede these data. Please contact David.W.Clemens-Sewall.Th@dartmouth.edu with any questions.
