The purpose of this proposal is to use high-resolution X-ray diffuse scattering to study the disordered structure of organic quantum materials and to build an understanding of their true local structure. Organic quantum materials offer great promise for sensitive devices due to their highly-tuneable, soft lattices which accommodate superconducting, charge-ordered, and insulating states depending on composition and applied external fields.
本提案旨在利用高分辨率X射线漫散射技术,研究有机量子材料的无序结构,并深入理解其真实局域结构。有机量子材料因具备高度可调谐的软晶格而在敏感器件领域极具应用前景,这类晶格可根据组分与外加外场的变化,呈现超导、电荷有序及绝缘等多种物态。
