Rheumatoid factor-dependent differential landscape of subgingival microbiome in patients with and individuals at risk of rheumatoid arthritis

Serum autoantibodies such as rheumatoid factor (RF) and anti-citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPA) precede the onset of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and autoantibodies against periodontal bacteria increase during the preclinical phase of RA, suggesting the association between periodontal bacteria exposure and development of RA-related autoantibodies.

血清中的类风湿因子（rheumatoid factor, RF）与抗瓜氨酸化蛋白抗体（anti-citrullinated protein antibodies, ACPA）等自身抗体，可先于类风湿关节炎（rheumatoid arthritis, RA）发病出现；针对牙周细菌的自身抗体在RA临床前阶段水平升高，这提示牙周细菌暴露与RA相关自身抗体的发生发展存在关联。
