Danish Election Study 1979

The Danish Election Study 1979 was carried out in October and November 1979. #The data were collected by the Danish Gallup Institute in two omnibuses; one of the omnibus surveys was carried out in October 1979, immediately after the general election on 23 October, whereas the other one was carried out in November. #The background information consists of the respondent's reading habits as regards dailies and Sunday papers, vote at the general election on 23 October, 1979, voting intention at a hypothetical general election on the day after the interview, occupation of spouse and head of household, as well as party affiliation. #In addition, the study deals with the respondent's opinion of what are the most important political problems, the process of deciding which party or what candidate to vote for, the respondent's political interest before the election campaign - especially interest in political broadcasts on the radio and on TV - and the respondent's party political and governmental preferences. The respondent is also asked to place the political parties and a number of organizations on a 'feeling thermometer', and is finally asked about her/his attitude to a number of political viewpoints. #The data material also includes some questions from the Eurobarometer series dealing with the European Parliament and attitudes to Danish membership of the EC

本次数据集还包含欧洲晴雨表（Eurobarometer）系列中有关欧洲议会以及丹麦加入欧洲共同体（EC）态度的相关问题。
