As part of our exploration into alternative model systems for toxicology, we exposed male and female adult D. melanogaster to varying concentratios of arsenite over the course of two days and profiled their response via RNA-seq Overall design: Male and female starved adult flies were exposed to zero (control), 0.25mM, or 1mM sodium arsenite in their food for the alotted time (0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 24, 48h), before collection and proccessing for RNA-seq These data stem from an in-house re-run of experimental samples initially profiled in GSE235705, which was missing several male timepoints and had a high variance of read depth A few samples were re-run for increased depth; the concatenated fastq files are identified by their "S00" sample numbers raw fastq files are coded with the schema: "[NaAsO2 (soduium arsenite)]- [M/F (male or female) 0/1/2/4/8/24/48 (time of treatment in hours) A/B/C (0, 0.25, or 1mM arsenite, respectively)]-[1/2/3/4 (replicate number)]
