FACTORS INCREASING PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY IN ENTERPRISES: A CASE STUDY OF BUILDING MATERIALS MANUFACTURING

This study examines the main factors influencing production efficiency in building materials manufacturing enterprises, with particular focus on technological, organizational-managerial, and economic-financial determinants. The research is based on empirical analysis of 14 enterprises operating in Uzbekistan and supported by comparative industry data from Kazakhstan, Russia, and Turkey. The study applies production function analysis, total factor productivity decomposition, and qualitative case study methods to identify the mechanisms through which efficiency improvements are achieved. The findings demonstrate that technological modernization, including automation and energy-efficient production systems, significantly reduces energy consumption and product defect rates. Organizational improvements such as lean management, workforce development, and effective production planning positively affect labor productivity and equipment utilization. Economic and financial factors, particularly fixed asset modernization and access to investment financing, also play a critical role in improving enterprise performance. The research further reveals that integrated implementation of technological, organizational, and financial measures generates synergistic effects, producing substantially greater efficiency gains than isolated interventions. The study concludes with practical recommendations for enterprise managers and policymakers aimed at enhancing competitiveness, productivity, and sustainable industrial development in the building materials sector.本研究旨在探究建材制造企业生产效率的核心影响因素，重点关注技术、组织管理与经济金融维度的核心决定因素。本研究以乌兹别克斯坦境内14家企业的实证分析为基础，并辅以哈萨克斯坦、俄罗斯与土耳其的行业对比数据作为支撑。研究采用生产函数分析、全要素生产率（Total Factor Productivity）分解以及定性案例研究等方法，识别企业实现生产效率提升的内在作用机制。研究结果显示，包括自动化生产与节能生产系统在内的技术现代化改造，可显著降低能源消耗与产品残次率；诸如精益管理、员工能力培养与高效生产规划等组织优化举措，能够对劳动生产率与设备利用率产生积极影响；经济与金融因素，尤其是固定资产现代化改造与投资融资渠道获取，同样对企业绩效提升发挥关键作用。本研究进一步发现，协同推进技术、组织与金融类举措可产生协同效应，其带来的效率提升幅度远高于单一独立的干预措施。本研究最后针对企业管理者与政策制定者提出了切实可行的建议，旨在提升建材行业的竞争力、生产效率与可持续工业发展水平。
