This is a study conducted in 2016 to evaluate the use of information and communications technologies (TICs) among medical students of 40 local scientific societies of medical students affiliated to the Latin American Federation of Medical Students Scientific Societies (FELSOCEM, in Spanish). 本研究于2016年开展，旨在评估隶属于拉丁美洲医学生学术社团联合会（西班牙语缩写为FELSOCEM）的40个地方医学生学术社团的医学生对信息与通信技术（Information and Communications Technologies，简称TICs）的使用情况。各地方学术社团的本地调研团队收集了受试者自述的科研发表数据，并探究了该数据与社会经济、学业及科研训练条件之间的关联。
