This serovar is rarely associated with human disease, but it is one of the most common serovars causing clinical disease in cattle. It is one of the top serovars isolated from asymptomatic dairy cattle and dairy farm environments. This isolate was obtained via rectal retrieval from fecal material from a non-clinical bovine host.

该血清型（serovar）极少与人类疾病相关，却是引发牛临床疾病最为常见的血清型之一，同时亦是从无症状奶牛及奶牛场环境中分离得到的主流血清型之一。本次分离株通过直肠取材方式，采自非临床牛宿主的粪便样本。
