Community monitoring of pools and watercourses in the Barossa

This project is targeting the pools and watercourses of the Barossa and Eden Valleys area. The key areas of interest are to capture photos and information about the species of flora and fauna that are present and interacting with the waterways. This will provide vital biodiversity data that will be used to inform and guide future projects and on-ground activities. In addition, photos and information about the changes in water level and flows in the pools and watercourses will provide vital hydrological data that will be used to inform and guide future water planning and projects to protect the health and condition of water dependent ecosystems.

本项目聚焦巴罗萨谷（Barossa）与伊甸谷（Eden Valley）区域的水塘及水道。本次研究的核心目标为拍摄并记录栖息于此、与水道产生互动的动植物物种相关影像与信息，由此生成至关重要的生物多样性数据，用于为后续项目与实地作业提供决策依据与指导。此外，针对水塘与水道的水位及流量变化拍摄的影像与相关信息，将生成关键的水文数据，用于为未来水资源规划及相关项目提供决策支撑，以保护依赖水资源的生态系统的健康与状态。
