This multilingual glossary provides a comprehensive overview of key concepts related to Diamond Open Access publishing, presented in the four official languages of communication of the ALMASI project. The definitions were developed by drawing on local and regional sources wherever possible, with the dual aim of: Clarifying terminology specific to Diamond Open Access ecosystems; Highlighting differences in open access publishing solutions, practices, and landscapes across diverse geographical and linguistic contexts. By grounding its definitions in local perspectives, this glossary serves as a practical and comparative resource for researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders engaged in advancing equitable, community-driven scholarly communication globally.
