Shotgun Sequencing of Tara Oceans DNA samples from size fractions containing mainly DNA viruses

Seawater from different depths was precipitaded then filtered to retain small particle sizes (Virus particles). The DNA was extracted and submitted to high throughput sequencing.

采集自不同深度的海水经沉淀处理后，过滤截留小粒径颗粒（病毒颗粒）。提取其中的脱氧核糖核酸（Deoxyribonucleic Acid，DNA）后，进行高通量测序（High-throughput Sequencing）。
