Supplementary data for "Effect of Uncertainty in Water Vapor Continuum Absorption on CO2 Forcing, Longwave Feedback, and Climate Sensitivity"

This dataset is supplementary to the article "Effect of Uncertainty in Water Vapor Continuum Absorption on CO2 Forcing, Longwave Feedback, and Climate Sensitivity".

spectral_olr.nc

This file contains the spectral outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) calculated using the line-by-line radiative transfer model ARTS and the radiative-convective equilibrium model konrad. It contains spectral OLR for surface temperatures from 270K to 330K for different strengths of the water vapor continuum absorption.

opacity_emission_level.py

This file also contains the spectrally resolved optical depth and the emission level of outgoing longwave radiation for the considered absorption species (H2O lines, H2O continuum, H2O self continuum, H2O foreign continuum, CO2, N2, and O2).

continuum_reference_conditions.nc

This file contains the reference continuum absorption coefficients that were used to calculate the adjustment to the foreign continuum for the single-constraint experiment.

continuum_all_profiles.nc

This file contains the reference continuum absorption coefficients that were used to calculate the adjustment to the foreign continuum for the general-constraint experiment.

modified_continuum_input_files_single_constraint.zip and modified_continuum_input_files_general_constraint.zip

These files contain the modified continuum data files used for the implementation of the MT_CKD continuum model in the line-by-line model ARTS for the single-constraint and general-constraint experiments, respectively.

tau_column.nc and tau_profile.nc

These files contain separately for each absorption species the vertically integrated opacity spectra, and the opacity profiles at two selected wavenumbers.

该文件包含基于逐线辐射传输模型（line-by-line radiative transfer model）ARTS与辐射对流平衡模型（radiative-convective equilibrium model）konrad计算得到的光谱向外长波辐射（Outgoing Longwave Radiation, OLR）数据，涵盖地表温度介于270K至330K区间内、不同水汽连续吸收强度下的光谱向外长波辐射结果。

`opacity_emission_level.py`
该文件包含所考虑吸收组分（水汽谱线、水汽连续吸收、水汽自连续吸收、水汽外连续吸收、CO₂、N₂与O₂）的光谱分辨光学厚度与向外长波辐射发射量数据。

`continuum_reference_conditions.nc`
该文件包含用于单约束实验中外连续吸收修正计算的参考连续吸收系数。

`continuum_all_profiles.nc`
该文件包含用于一般约束实验中外连续吸收修正计算的参考连续吸收系数。

`modified_continuum_input_files_single_constraint.zip` 与 `modified_continuum_input_files_general_constraint.zip`
上述压缩包分别包含为单约束实验与一般约束实验，在逐线辐射传输模型ARTS中实现MT_CKD连续吸收模型所需的修改版连续吸收数据文件。

`tau_column.nc` 与 `tau_profile.nc`
上述文件分别针对各吸收组分，存储了垂直积分光学厚度光谱，以及两个选定波数下的光学厚度廓线数据。
