Gambusia sexradiata Genome sequencing

The goal of this studies is to understand the genetic basis of sulfide adaptation in populations of Gambusia sexradiata and Gambusia eurystoma. These genomes will be use to explore convergent evolution from nucleotides to pathways and link genetic variation with key adaptive phenotypes.
