Gambusia sexradiata Genome sequencing

The goal of this studies is to understand the genetic basis of sulfide adaptation in populations of Gambusia sexradiata and Gambusia eurystoma. These genomes will be use to explore convergent evolution from nucleotides to pathways and link genetic variation with key adaptive phenotypes.本研究旨在明确饰纹花鳉（Gambusia sexradiata）和宽鳍花鳉（Gambusia eurystoma）种群对硫化物适应的遗传基础。本研究获取的上述两种鱼类的基因组将用于探究从核苷酸到通路层面的趋同演化，并建立遗传变异与关键适应性表型之间的关联。
