Blue Carbon Restoration Actions

Management scenarios, including fencing, levee removal, and managed retreat, to identify potential areas available for restoration at a large scale. This data only considers the restoration of mangroves and saltmarshes. The data was modelled and classified by Deakin University's Blue Carbon Lab (Costa et al. 2022) based upon existing data on fencing, levee locations, pre-European distribution of mangroves and saltmarshes (Boon et al. 2011), as well as land use (e.g. pasture/grazing lands), and inundated extent from predicted sea level rise and storm surge. 本数据集涵盖围栏管护、堤防拆除及计划性退养等海岸带管理场景，用于识别可大规模开展滨海湿地修复的潜在区域。本数据集仅针对红树林与盐沼的修复场景进行评估。
该数据集由澳大利亚迪肯大学蓝碳实验室（Blue Carbon Lab）的Costa等（2022）基于多源现有数据建模分类，所用数据涵盖围栏管护设施分布、堤防位置、欧洲殖民前红树林与盐沼的分布范围（Boon等，2011）、土地利用类型（如牧场/放牧用地），以及基于预测海平面上升与风暴潮模拟得到的淹没范围。
本研究方法无法替代蓝碳项目实施前所需的水动力模拟与场地专项分析。
